Parks and Recreation

The Town of Wartrace has several parks and recreation venues.  Right next to the city park with baseball field, a playground, and open fields, you'll find Jernigan Field where the annual Wartrace Horse Show is held. Since 1906, the oldest one-night horse show in Tennessee has attracted  fans to witness the finalists competing to enter the National Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration.  The Wartrace Music Fest is also held annually at Jernigan Field the first Saturday of June.
