Dollar General expected to open Sunday

"I am very happy to welcome Dollar General to Wartrace," said Mayor Thomas Hurt who visited the new store on Thursday and spoke to employees who were busy stocking shelves. The retail store is expected to open on Sunday, January 28, 2018 with a grand opening and ribbon cutting to be scheduled at a later date.

Dollar General is the first national retail store in Wartrace that will sell a range of items including apparel, food, toys, supplies, and more. The Wartrace store is one of more than 14,000 facilities in 44 states to offer neighborhood shopping.
