ACH Water Payments Are Now Available
Water and sewer customers for the Town of Wartrace are now able to sign-up for ACH payments for their monthly invoices. By paying through ACH, customers will avoid the processing fee charged through credit, debit, and check cards.
Customers who sign up will receive a notice on their bill stating, "ACH - Do not pay." This notice will show how much will be charged to your account on the bill due date, which is the 12th of every month. If the 12th falls on a weekend or holiday, the charge will occur on the next regular business day.
To sign up for the ACH services, forms are available at Town Hall or at the link below. You will need the form completely filled out and submit a voided check with the form for the bank to process your payment.
"We are very excited to offer this service to our customers," said Mayor Cindy Drake. "It has been a priority for several years, so I am very pleased to make this announcement. I hope our customers take advantage of this opportunity."
