Storm Shelter: The Wartrace Methodist Church at 305 Main Street East has been established as a storm shelter for Wartrace. Emergency Management Services tries to open the shelters thirty (30) minutes prior to a severe storm “WARNING” is issued.

Local radio station WLIJ (1580) will broadcast when the shelters are opening. The Town of Wartrace also has an emergency siren which it will sound should a warning be issued. Those requiring shelter during severe weather conditions should monitor their Televisions or local radio station to determine when to safely proceed to the shelter. Do not wait until the severe weather conditions are upon us.
