The Planning Commission works with local government, developers, and the public to create a vibrant, livable, and prosperous community for all. Our goal is to balance economic development, social equity, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of community planning.

• Develop and update the community's comprehensive plan and zoning regulations 

• Review and make recommendations on development proposals, subdivisions, and land use changes 

• Conduct public hearings and gather input from stakeholders and the community 

• Ensure that development aligns with community values, goals, and vision

• Foster sustainable, equitable, and resilient growth and development 

• Protect and preserve natural resources, historic assets, and community character
