The Utilities Commission works closely with Wartrace Water. Our goal is to provide clean, safe, and reliable water for generations to come.

• Protect public health and safety through rigorous water quality standards systems, and wastewater collection and treatment facilities

• Oversee the management and maintenance of water treatment plants, distribution 

• Set rates and tariffs that balance affordability with infrastructure investment needs 

• Promote water conservation and efficiency through education and outreach programs 

• Develop and implement long-term plans to address water supply, infrastructure, and environmental challenges
